A Common Cause
NYCCA was born October 2021, when six cannabis accountants came together on a virtual networking call. We were connected by a common passion: we care about cannabis in New York. We quickly realized in that call that we have a responsibility to this industry, and decided we should organize to do good. The NYCCA came about shortly thereafter, with the goal to continue to connect like-minded professionals as we did in that first meeting. In doing so, our members support each other as we support this industry.

We are unpaid volunteers.
80% of our fundraising is devoted to programs in support of our mission.
20% of our income keeps us going; social media, our website & other administrative costs.
